I’m reaching out because my daughter is currently going through a serious mental health crisis, and I am doing everything I can to keep her safe and ensure she receives the care she urgently needs.

She has been assessed by a psychiatric team, and it was strongly recommended that she begin therapy immediately on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to start her therapy due to financial barriers, and I am currently trying to raise the funds needed so she can begin as soon as possible.

Because of this situation, I have had to step back from work to be home with her full-time. I am in the process of applying for income assistance, but right now I have little to no income.

At the same time, our basic living expenses continue:

* Rent: $1200/month (April is currently unpaid)

* Utilities: ~$200/month

* Food: ~$500/month

* Prescriptions: $120–$200/month

* My own therapy so I can stay stable and continue supporting her

We also live in Northern BC, which means we must travel out of town for much of her care, including appointments in Williams Lake, Prince George, and potentially Vancouver for specialized support. These trips involve fuel, food, and possible accommodation costs, but they are necessary for her to access care.

In addition, having a safe and reliable vehicle is essential in order for us to attend these medical appointments. Right now, our vehicle requires urgent safety-related repairs, including brakes and tires. Without these repairs, I am unable to safely make the trips required for her care.

The funds raised will go toward:

* Starting my daughter’s therapy as soon as possible

* Keeping a stable home environment (rent, utilities, food, medication)

* Travel costs for medical appointments across Northern BC

* Urgent vehicle safety repairs so we can access care safely

* Supporting my own mental health so I can continue caring for her

Right now, my focus is very simple:

keeping us stable and getting my daughter the care she has been medically recommended to begin immediately.
