Support Uri's Children: A Legacy of Love
Donation protected
On March 19, 2025, the world lost a truly remarkable man — Uri Ostrovsky, a father, a caregiver, and a protector whose life was devoted to helping others. Uri had an enormous heart and an unwavering mission to give shelter, love, and hope to the vulnerable.
Over the years, Uri adopted 11 children from the foster care system. Each of them came from a background of trauma and instability, and many have special needs, including autism and ADHD. Uri provided them with the home, structure, and love they had never known before. His devotion was tireless.
Uri also cared for dozens of injured or abandoned animals — dogs, cats, chickens, birds, even goats — creating a sanctuary full of healing for every soul that crossed his path.
But Uri’s passing came suddenly. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he died just two and a half months later, leaving behind his children — now in distress and fighting to survive without him.
His 27-year-old eldest son is now doing his best to care for five younger siblings, but the family is facing dire circumstances:
Their Medicaid coverage was canceled after Uri’s death.
All support funds were stopped, leaving them without access to vital care.
The children are without the basic resources they need for food, medicine, education, and stability.
In addition, Uri’s older sons are struggling with addiction and unable to live at home. We are determined to help them receive the support they need to heal and one day reunite with their family.
We are asking for your urgent help.
Your support can help these children survive this crisis and begin to rebuild their lives. Every dollar goes directly toward:
Emergency medical and therapeutic care
Food, clothing, and school needs
Support services for special needs children
Recovery assistance for the older brothers
Renovations to make the home safe and compliant with code
These children have lost their father, their healthcare, and their financial stability — but they haven’t lost hope. With your help, we can carry forward Uri’s legacy of compassion and give these kids a fighting chance.
Please consider donating today. Every act of generosity brings comfort, safety, and strength to a family in need.
Thank you for standing with them during this heartbreaking time.
