My name is Urimare Jimenez, and I am reaching out after experiencing a devastating loss just a few days ago. A massive fire swept through my home, taking everything with it—my house, my car, and irreplaceable family photos. The fire didn’t just take away our shelter; it also destroyed all the equipment in my family business and all of the solar panels that powered our home. Because the city will not add our home to the city power grid, the solar panels were essential for our daily life. Now, we are left without power and without the means to rebuild on our own.

I am determined to rebuild a safe and loving home for my family. The funds raised will go directly toward constructing a new place for us to live, replacing the essential equipment needed to restart our family business, and purchasing new solar panels so we can have power again.
