Uriel Arroyo is one of our beloved CT Techs. He has been with the Waco location since June 2017, but regularly works at any of the other locations as needed. I don't think he's ever said no to anyone clinic in need.  Just this past week he worked a 24 hour shift in Temple when other Techs couldn't make it in because of the weather.  On February 16th at around 2am Uriel received a call from ADT that his smoke detectors were going off. Uri was in the first 12 hours of a 36 hour shift in Waco, due to the recent blizzard of 2021.  He quickly called his wife, Krista, woke her up and she discovered their roof was engulfed in flames. They were without power, much like the rest of us, and she had no idea.  It's suspected that a faulty gas fireplace maybe the cause of the fire. They just purchased their first home in the last year and it is a significant loss. Thankful the fire department was able to put out the fire, but with significant water damage to the entire home.  Krista and pets were able to get out without any injuries, and Uri was able to run over and comfort her for a short time and then he came right back to work. I can go on and on about how much Uriel has been a blessing to Express ER as a whole but most of you already know that. Please donate what you can to help them with expenses in the short term as this loss will no doubt have a long term affect.
