Help Urbnpop Comics Grow and Serve the Community

Hello, I’m Chris Hamer owner of Urbnpop Comics company in Acworth Georgia. We are a family owned and run comic and collectibles shop that has been open just over a year and a half. We opened this store on a shoestring budget and a lot of determination and dreams. So far we have been doing ok, but getting by.

As 2025 approaches we are looking to expand our shop and take things to the next level, what does this mean?

we are hoping to add gaming to our shop like Warhammer and more card games. We are hoping to create a spot in the shop dedicated to kids and kids comics and books.

we want to start more community based projects, like grow our comic con, our drink and draw and our free comics for

kids program.

we have so many more plans but as always with new business there are growing pains and daily hurdles we most over come.

we have budgeted out the rest of the year and with this next Go Fund me amount we are hoping to achieve the next level for our shop and be able to meet some of these goals. We appreciate you for your support and consideration on helping our little store. It means the world to us for this to continue and to grow, while keeping it community based.
