However, fate dealt her an additional blow as she was simultaneously diagnosed with 3rd stage breast cancer. The medical team emphasized the urgency of addressing the breast cancer before proceeding with the kidney transplant, compounding her ordeal.

After battling breast cancer with remarkable strength, Mrs. Pradhan returned to Nepal, where she now faces the daunting task of three dialysis sessions per week. Financial constraints and her weakened health make each dialysis session a significant challenge. Despite her family's valiant efforts, the funds required for the kidney transplant remain elusive.
