Help Upgrade Johnny Robinson's Boys Home Cafeteria

Johnny Robinson’s Boys Home is a home for troubled boys between the ages of 12-18 who have been adjudicated and are in the custody of the State of Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice. It was founded in 1980 by LSU, Kansas City Chiefs great and Pro Football Hall of Fame Member, Johnny Robinson. Johnny Robinson’s Boys Home is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
The ‘Boys Home’ serves as an alternative to placement in a detention center or lock-up setting for young men in custody. It provides each one with housing, food, clothing, and various needed therapies in a non-secure home-like environment. Thousands of young men have benefitted and found a better way of life because of being placed in this home. The home itself was built in 1905. The property holds a gymnasium, a full cafeteria, and an education building in addition to several other smaller homes that serve as dormitories for the young men and the staff.
Maintenance and upkeep for a home/facility this age is relentless and very costly. This GoFundMe is being launched for the purpose of raising funds for the renovation and upgrade of the cafeteria and its appliances. Any donations made will go straight toward this goal. We thank you for your consideration in donating to this cause. In doing so, you will be helping us continue to care for and change the lives of the young men we serve every day.
