We need to build a fence to protect wolf OR-7
Tax deductible
The famous Rogue Pack needs your help. KS Wild is raising money to build a fence to keep the wolves in the Rogue Pack safe. They have been caught killing livestock adjacent to where they are denning and it is feared that this will become a learned behavior with this pack. This could put the pack in danger. Working with state and federal wildlife officials, it has been determined that a tall fence is the best way to keep wolves away from these cattle and hunting wild game instead.
OR-7 was the first wolf in southern Oregon and California in nearly a century. The Rogue Pack was established by a female wolf from northeast Oregon and OR-7 after a 1,000 mile journey. This pack is the source of many of the wolves that are just now recovering on the west coast. We need this pack to be successful, and that means we need the local ranchers and wolves to co-exist. We need $6,000 to finish off the fundraising to build this fence.
