Currently, there is a temporary restraining order to keep our children at North Allegheny School District masked until further hearings can be held on the matter. These hearings are likely to occur over the next 14 days. Parents in support of mask choice have not been heard during the court proceeding, and we need your help to ensure that the school board's mask optional vote remains in place. Legal counsel has been retained to represent the interest of parents who wish for masking to remain optional. Our legal representation has been working diligently to persuade the court prior to its ruling, but clearly, this will be a long process. The school board has already ruled that masks are optional beginning January 18th, and we are consistently being held hostage by a few members of this district. A group of FOUR families is determining what happens to over 8000 kids in the district. We need your help to make sure our voices in support of mask choice are heard loud and clear.
