Help Unite a Family Torn by the Genocide in Gaza

Salaam Alykom WarahmatuAllah Wabarakatuh,  

My name is Mohamed one of the youth Imams in the Greater Boston area, I am reach out to you, seeking your support in reuniting a family torn apart by the devastating effects of the Gaza massacre. 

Anas and Aasr Abu Muheisen are two children that escaped Gaza and made it to Boston to receive treatment alongside their grandmother. I have been working closely with the grandmother to visit the children in the hospital and give them Quran lessons.

Anas and Aasr have lost their parents, siblings, and 12 other family members, leaving those who remain wounded and injured, their home completely destroyed by the brutal devastation in Gaza. They have nowhere else to turn.

Please read their Uncle Saeed’s message below:  

“Hello, I am Saeed Abu Muheisen from Gaza and I am 27 years old. Before October 7th, I was an automobile mechanical engineer. My wife specializes in medical optics and is 24 years old. We have a child named Rakan, who is a year and two months old. He has lived half of his life in this damned war. The Israelis bombed and destroyed our house - our dreams destroyed with it. My brother, his wife and three children were killed, and two of his children, Aser and Anas, survived the bombing and were evacuated with my mother to Boston, MA, USA, where they’re receiving treatment. They suffered severe burns and amputation. My sister and her two children were also killed, and I was injured in the head. 6 of my family members that are still alive in Gaza are also injured and require immediate medical treatment. My wife, son and I narrowly escaped death. We have lived for 7 months in displacement in a tent in Rafah. We continue to live through a war of hunger, malnutrition, and the absence of treatment and medicine. We have and continue to suffer from all kinds of psychological and physical torture. Please help me and my family survive this war, start a new life, reunite with our family outside of Gaza and give my son the chance to live a happy life in a better place without fear or anxiety.”  

We ask, with the help of Allah, for donations to gather what remains of the family and support them in their ordeal. They are in need of medical treatment due to their injuries. I will be giving the money collected to the grandmother directly who will send the money overseas. 

May Allah accept their martyrs and bless those who give and assist. May Allah reward you all. "And whatever you spend of good - it is for yourselves. And you do not spend except seeking the reward of Allah. And whatever you spend of good, it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged." (Quran 2:272)"

‎انس واسر فقدو ابيهما واخوتهم واختهم و١٢ فرد من العائلة ومن تبقى جرحى ومصابين وتدمر بيتهم بالكلية بسبب الدمار الوحشي على غزة. ولم يبقى لهم مكان ليذهبوا إليه. والآن الحمد لله، هم في بوسطن يتعالجان مع جدتهم بعد كثير من العناء للوصول

‎نطلب بعون الله التبرعات لجمع ما تبقى من العائلة ودعمهم في محنتهم. هم بحاجة للعلاج بسبب إصاباتهم
