Hello! We are Hayley Tran and Lani Nguyen, representing UniSnax, a Virtual Enterprise company from Westminster High School. We discovered that our company of 34 students qualifies for a national competition in New York and hope that you can help us get there.

What is Virtual Enterprise? Virtual Enterprise is a program that allows students to form and create a mock company, allowing them to gain insight into the business world. At the beginning of the year, we went through phases of interviewing for positions and holding class-wide discussions regarding what type of company we wanted to be and what it is we wanted to sell.

Now, we have established ourselves as UniSnax: a snack company that strives to increase the accessibility of cultural snacks. Coming from a diverse school with students from various ethnic backgrounds, we wanted to see that diversity being reflected onto our products. That, along with the apparent lack of cultural snacks available in American markets, inspired us to create ready-to-go, regional snack boxes available in local grocery stores and online.

At UniSnax, our team has participated in many trade shows and placed in a variety of competitions. Starting at the national level we have been top 10% in Company Branding and Elevator Pitch. At our most recent trade show, we achieved 2nd Gold in Salesmanship, 2nd Gold in Marketing Plan, 3rd Gold in Video Commercial, Silver in Newsletter, and placed in the top 42 for the Business Plan Presentation across the Western Region. We are one out of the 31 teams that have been selected against other firms in the United States that have placed and have been given the opportunities to fly out and compete on a higher scale. With that, we are unable to fully fund the trip due to the cost being upwards of $1,500 per student. With this GoFundMe, we aim to cover some of the cost while we work to host other fundraisers.

After a demanding year of competitions and tradeshows, traveling to New York would be incredibly rewarding, as it has been our aspiration since the creation of the firm. With that, we hope for the best, and thank you for your kind consideration and donations!
