Help Unionizing Baristas @ Massapequa Starbucks

I'm fundraising for the Starbucks workers trying to unionize at Massapequa Village Square Starbucks in Massapequa, NY. The baristas and shift supervisors at Massapequa Village Square Starbucks were there for our community throughout hardship and lockdowns of covid. Now is our chance to show them that we are here to support them during their time of need. Starbucks Corporation has cut hours nationwide, causing partners to struggle to make ends meet. Partners who previously worked about 27 hours per week are now scheduled for 11 hours. They struggled to pay our bills before, and many people that rely on their average weekly check now see their income slashed. Starbucks cut their hours during a time of inflation in which many are struggling financially in general. We must help the partners that keep our community going, one cup of coffee at a time, by showing them financial support in this time of need. The partners at this store are trying to unionize and being met with Starbucks union-busting tactics when they are on the schedule, being short-staffed from hour cuts, and not receiving enough income. The funds raised will be offered to every shift supervisor and barista, they will have the option to opt-in or opt-out based on their own financial needs and hours cut. The total donated will then be split equally among those in need. 100% of the profits will be going to the partners of Massapequa Village Square Starbucks in Long Island, New York.
