Hello, I am raising funds through my non-profit Power of Work to support an unhoused young lady and her soon-to-be baby boy. We have been collecting items and this fundraiser for any future items she needs such as medical bills for doctor visits for her baby and future housing.

Shelly says that she has been living on the streets for the last 15 years and when her partner became abusive she left him to make sure that her child Jasper will be raised in a safe environment. She has been in a shelter in Alameda California and is about to deliver her baby boy.

Power of Work is a registered 501c3 non-profit, so your donations are tax deductible. We typically focus on providing trainings and job hunt support such as mock interviews, but we are hoping to be able to support Shelly in her journey to motherhood and possibly back into the workforce in a few years.
