Since you’re coming to my 60th, I just want to say...please, no gifts!

But if you were thinking of doing something, I’d love it if you’d consider donating to a cause that’s close to my heart.

I’ve been supporting a scholarship fund since 2000 in honor of my parents, Lawrence & Terry Martis. They never had the chance to attend college because their families couldn’t afford it, so I started the Lawrence & Terry Martis Scholarship to help students from their village—Shirva, India—who attend St. Mary’s College and face similar financial challenges.

Right now, we help 15-20 students a year with their tuition. I continue to grow the fund so we can support more kids, or give each of them a little more help.

If you’d like to donate, your support will mean the world to me, and to the underprivileged students whose lives and futures you will help to shape.
