Hello! We are the US chapter of Beti Foundation, a well known NGO in India working towards empowering women, educating children, and more, all in an effort to create an egalitarian society that has succeeded in filtering evil practices through the lowest strata.

On November 26th, we are hosting a mass marriage for 21 women. These are struggling and disabled women in need of a helping hand. Some of them are deaf, some are mute, some don't have hands, and more. All of these women are facing the struggles of poverty, on top of the obstacles that come from their disabilities. You may be asking, how does marriage help? Well, in Indian society, marriage is a huge part of the culture. It can be quite difficult for the families of these women to provide for their needs, much less finance a whole marriage. Through marriage, we will be able to connect these women to well suited men with the ability to provide for their needs, providing them with the opportunity to develop a good life.

The total cost of this event will be around $25,000. If you would like to fund one marriage, the expense for each will be around $1,200. All donations that are accumulated will be put towards this cause.
