Finding Answers for My Son, Amillier “Milli” Penn

On June 2nd, 2024, my 15-year-old son, Amillier “Milli” Penn, was senselessly taken from this world. I have been walking this path of grief and pursuit of truth ever since, determined to honor his memory and ensure his story is never forgotten.

I firmly believe that more than one person was involved in the events leading to Milli’s death. I am committed to uncovering the full truth. Through official channels, I have filed Freedom of Information Act requests with the City of Grand Rapids, seeking traffic and city-operated camera footage, intersection logs, and surveillance records along the streets where my son was chased.

The city has located 32 videos that could hold the answers, but accessing and reviewing these files comes with a significant cost—over $1,700 for processing and review. Starting at the end of this month, I will begin putting money aside to cover these fees, but I need your help to accelerate this effort and ensure that no potential evidence is overlooked.

Every dollar donated will go directly toward:

• Obtaining and reviewing city and traffic camera footage

• Processing FOIA requests and fees

• Covering related investigative expenses
