Help Uncle William Recover from his Hospital Stay

My Uncle William was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia about 20 years years ago and has since then been living a reasonable life at an independent living facility in San Jose, Ca. His journey has been difficult, but with his strength, prayer and the help and love of his family,  he has survived.

With the recent COVID-19 outbreak things have changed dramatically with my family's ability to visit him, and as a result, over the last year his mental and physical state has deteriorated. Specifically in the last several weeks we found out that my uncle stopped taking his medications and grew so depressed he would not leave his bed for days. After being taken to the hospital to rehabilitate him, the medical team found a blood clot in his lung and  right leg (as you see pictured above).  I am so grateful he was taken to hospital as this is a extremely dangerous, life threatening situation that could've caused a stroke and potentially death. He is currently at Good Samaritan Hospital awaiting a surgical procedure to remove the blood clot, as medications alone have been unsuccessful.

Becasue my uncle is mentally ill and hasn't been able to work for the last 20 years, he doesn't have a lot of resources or options to assist him financially when emergent medical situations come up.

We love him so much and just want to get my uncle the help he needs to sustain a good life. My family and I would truly appreciate anything you can contribute to help pay his medical bills. God bless.
