A Devastating Loss for Uncle John – Please Help
In the early hours of this morning, around 2 a.m., tragedy struck our Uncle John’s ranch located about 17 miles southeast of Sheridan, Wyoming.
Josh, uncle John’s neighbor—was jolted awake by loud explosions. Uncle John’s entire farm and ranch shop was engulfed in flames. The fire destroyed everything: tractors, swather, baler, feeder, skid steer, side by side, 4-wheelers, lawn mowers, welder, torches, air compressors and nearly every tool he owns—everything he relies on to run his operation. It’s hard to imagine the weight of such a loss.
Although he has some insurance, the company has yet to respond. There’s no clear timeline or guarantee of what will be covered or when help will come.
Friends and neighbors have reached out offering support cleaning up to lending equipment to get him through the end of calving and feeding season.
Uncle John is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. He’s always been the first to lend a hand to anyone in need—and he would never ask for help himself. That’s why we’re doing it for him.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to rally support for a man who has always given so much to others. If you're able to help in any way, your generosity would mean the world.
Please consider donating to support Wyoming farmer and rancher, John C. Bocek of Wyarno.
