### Help Uncle John Fight Oropharyngeal Cancer

Our beloved Uncle John, a proud Marmora native and professional trucker, was recently diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer. He is set to begin aggressive treatment in Toronto at Princess Margaret Hospital. We want to ensure that his focus remains on healing – not on the financial burden that comes with fighting for his life. His treatment plan is demanding, requiring multiple trips into the city with his incredible partner Cindy, by his side as his caregiver and support system. John’s income loss is 55% due to his medical leave, and costs of travel, gas, meals and parking are quickly beginning to pile up.

A lifetime hunter, golfer, and Marmora Legion member, John has always been a hardworking and kind-hearted person who has given so much to his large extended family, friends, and community.
