Hi there. My name is Kevin, and I am here to ask for your help for my Uncle Hai. He immigrated to America just two years ago, leaving everything behind and starting over with nothing, simply to be closer to his sisters (my mom and aunt). Tragically, over the past year, he was diagnosed with rectal cancer. We have tried our absolute best to support him through this fight.

If you ever have the chance to meet him, you will quickly learn that he is the sweetest and kindest person. His smile and laugh radiate to everyone around him. He loves spreading joy and happiness, even when there is a language barrier. He is the kind of man who will invite you to a family BBQ and instantly make you feel like you belong. Everyone calls him 'Uncle Hai' because he treats everyone like family and makes sure you know you are loved.

He bravely endured radiation and chemotherapy, but unfortunately, the cancer spread rapidly and has now reached his liver and blood. Now he is starting to have liver failure. His oncology team and our family have made the difficult decision to stop treatment and focus entirely on spending quality time together before he passes. My goal is to lift the financial burden off my family so we can focus solely on being with my uncle during his final days here.

Because his body is now so weak and fragile, he cannot travel back to his home country of Vietnam to spend his remaining time with his loved ones there. I am humbly asking for your help to raise the funds needed to send him back to Vietnam after he passes, so he can have a proper funeral back home and be laid to rest in peace next to his parents.
