To know him is to love him, so when we found out our Uncle Danny's (Thoi) liver was failing due to Liver Cancer, our hearts sank. He truly is everyone's favorite Uncle, always welcoming you with open arms, an open heart and a delicious hot meal. He’s a devoted husband, father of 5 (3 of which are serving/have served in the US Military - Army, Air Force and Navy) and Uncle to many – blood related or not. He has been quietly battling Liver Cancer for the past year when his health recently took a turn for the worse and he has been in and out of the hospital since just before the New Year. While everyone was counting down to midnight with drink in hand, loved ones near, and high hopes for an amazing year to come, he was in a lot of pain, in a hospital room, with just a select few knowing, as to not burden anyone celebrating the new year – true Uncle Danny fashion.

His liver continued to worsen, so he was transferred to UCLA on January 10th where he remains in ICU. Since his wife has been by his side day and night, they are both unable to work to pay for household and medical expenses that are quickly piling up. So we are asking for donations so he and his family no longer have to fight this quietly, or alone. This GoFundMe is created in an effort to take one thing off of their extremely full plate, so they can focus on healing his liver and body to be healthy enough to receive chemotherapy and ultimately, a liver transplant that can save his life. All donations will go directly to the Dang/Tran family to help with the long road ahead.
