Help Uncle Brian Recover from the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
My brother, aka Uncle Brian, has lived in his Altadena rental home (owned by a church) for the past 8 years while providing services for the church. On the early morning of January 8, he urgently evacuated while the Eaton fire moved rapidly through his neighborhood. Sadly, during the chaos, he lost his 2 cats, Benny and Sunny, who escaped as he and his roommate were putting them in their carrier. There wasn’t time to chase after them or pack any precious items as the house was catching fire. He lost his home, car, all of his belongings and narrowly escaped with the clothes he was wearing.
We are so very grateful for everyone’s thoughts, prayers, kind offers and donations. Right now, he is working through the shock and grief of losing everything, so I’ve set up this page so that everyone who knows and loves Brian can share their support in one place – whether through messages or donations. The funds will go towards his temporary housing costs and replacement of his belongings as he had no insurance. Brian appreciates each and every one of you –and your love and support will help him get back on his feet as he recovers from this tragedy.
