Help Uncle Andy Get Home After His Stroke

Hello! My name is Sophia Shock and I am fundraising for my Uncle Andy, who suffered a devastating hemorrhagic stroke in June of 2020. Andy was given a very low chance of survival after the stroke…however he has defied many odds and has worked so incredibly hard rehabbing over the past two years. Thanks to many prayers, hard work, determination, and grit…Uncle Andy is miraculously ready and wanting to move back home. This where I need your help!

 

Uncle Andy’s home is a very old house that is not very accessible for his needs. He is wheelchair bound after the stroke and suffered paralysis on his right side, alongside losing all form of speech. He is desperately wanting to move back home, however his house is needing some updates to make this transition smooth before he moves. Due to it being an old house, we are needing assistance with a chair lift so he doesn’t fall up or down the stairs, along with purchasing basic necessities that are easy to use one handed. We want to make sure that before he moves home, the house is accessible and ready so he can comfortably move home and be confident the house is adaptable.

 

Uncle Andy has worked so incredibly hard over the past two years and it is honestly a miracle he is able to move home. He worked so hard his entire life and would give the shirt off his back to help others in need. If you’re able to donate, we would greatly appreciate it!
