An update regarding Umm Muhammad and her children. Several months ago, Umm Muhammad returned to Sudan in order to reunite with her children, only to find that their situation was much worse than she expected. Currently, Sudan is undergoing political unrest and turmoil, which has impacted the lives of everyday people such as Umm Muhammad and her family. Inflation, hunger, disease and violence have become widespread throughout the country.

Umm Muhammad and her children do not feel secure in Sudan and are attempting to leave the country to a more secure neighboring country. In order to accomplish this, she needs to obtain the necessary paperwork and passports for her children. She also needs emergency funds for tickets when it is time to exit. The family is in need of a total of $3,000 US dollars to assist with this process.
