Umm Ali (Iman), a mother of four, is displaced in Gaza where she is trying to keep her family afloat during the ongoing genocide. She is currently living in a tent after her home and all of her belongings were destroyed in airstrikes. She is seeking to rebuild her family’s lives and home from scratch, again.

Umm Ali also dreams of one day safely evacuating from Gaza to Egypt via Ya Hala, a company that will coordinate their travels. They require at least $65,000 CAD to safely cross the border; $5,000 per capita + travel expenses.
