Hello! My name is Ume. I'm 25 years old.
I have several physical and mental issues which prevent me from living a normal life. I spend days in bed, dealing with pain and insomnio, not being able to function.
I don't live with my family since none of then can help me. The ones who are willing to, don't have the means/income. And the ones who have the income, aren't willing to.
I live with a roommate who already does a lot for me covering rent and basic needs, but he cannot afford to cover my medical bills, nor does he have any obligation to.
I have many mental health issues as anxiety, depression, BPD, and a couple more things which I have no proper diagnosis for.
Physically, I suffer from extreme fatigue, which leaves me bedridden for days at a time. I can some days spend some energy going out with a friend, but I know the outcome will be not being able to function for days. I can't do daily activities as cleaning, excercise ever so slightly, cooking, and I don't leave my house even to go to the store. I stopped going to family social events including christmas due to all of this.
I suffer from migraines which leave me in pain for days. I also suffer from joint hypermobility syndrome, which makes me more likely to injure myself like sprains and such. There are many things I need to be checked up to find a treatment to improve my quality of life, such as: Heart issues, hormonal imbalance, arthritis, lupus.
My goal is to cover all the tests and check ups to find what is causing my body to not function, at least partially.
I'm very thankful for you taking your time to read my story. Every cent counts, and even if you can't, sharing my story helps a lot.

Some aclarations:
-I can't keep a job in the state I am. I'd wish I could.
-I don't live near any family member, nor do I have any type of vehicle available to go to the hospital, so I have to endure long bus trips and many times I'm not lucky enough to get a seat.
- I need to get better, not only to stop feeling tired and in pain, but to build a proper life and future for myself.

Thank you so much again for your support!
