Urgent Appeal for Umaira's Cancer Treatment

Meet Umaira Irshad, a brave and resilient 16-year-old girl who has been battling a recurring germ cell brain tumor. Despite her tender age, Umaira has shown remarkable strength and determination in the face of adversity.

The Journey So Far

Umaira's health issues began with the diagnosis of a germ cell brain tumor, which severely impacted her health and vision. In December 2023, she underwent a critical surgery, followed by multiple chemotherapy sessions. Although these treatments provided temporary relief, Umaira's condition has worsened, requiring another urgent operation scheduled for January 2025.

A Family's Plea for Help

As Umaira's primary caregivers, her parents, Shirana and her husband, have been grappling with immense emotional and financial challenges. With Shirana being unemployed since December 2023 and her husband losing his business during the same period, the family is struggling to make ends meet. Despite receiving generous support from loved ones and well-wishers for Umaira's prior treatments, the family is now in urgent need of additional financial assistance to continue her care.
