Our 2 year old cat Uma was found to have an abnormality growing on her skull that is pressing on her Cerebellum, limiting the flow of spinal fluid, and causing her extreme pain. We spent over a month trying to get a diagnosis, and now our only option for her to have a long happy life is to have her undergo surgery for removal of the growth.

Uma is a sweet and energetic cat. The only time we’ve ever seen her hiss or be angry was while we were at one of our many vet trips seeking a diagnosis. During that time our loving and crazy cat was distressed, lethargic, and incredibly drugged up. The neurology doctors feel confident that this is the best option to get her back to normal and ensure she lives a long normal cat life.

We love Uma and would do anything to see her healthy and climbing our walls again. The costs to get her diagnosed totaled near $6000 and now her surgery is estimated between $8-$10,000. This is not something we could have ever foreseen, so we are hoping for support to cover the bills for her surgery and hospital stay.
