Help Ullie Breathe Easy: Support His Surgery
Donation protected
Meet “Ullie”. This sweet little boy was born around the end of April 2025. Shortly after his birth, two dogs attacked his mother and killed his litter mates. The dogs brought Ullie’s limp body to their owner as a display of their hunting prowess… but Ullie miraculously survived. This precious boy is a fighter.
Ullie suffers with a herniated diaphragm. This means on occasion Ullie’s intestines push up through his diaphragm and put pressure on his lungs and heart. Ullie struggles to breathe.
Because of his breathing issue, we have to monitor his food intake. We must be sure his belly doesn’t swell and hurt his lungs. His feedings are frequent, but small. Smaller feedings mean that Ullie is growing at a slower rate.
Despite this set back, we are diligently working round the clock to support Ullie’s growth. Once he is big enough, he can have surgery to correct his hernia and live a normal, healthy life. The surgery is very expensive, the rough initial estimate is $5000.00.
This fundraiser is being held with two hopes in mind: First, we hope that spreading the word about Ullie will bring positive vibes for his survival. Everyone deserves a cheering section. And second, that we have the funds ready to go the minute Ullie is big enough for surgery.
Please, if you can help little Ullie with love, prayers, and maybe a dollar or two, we will be forever appreciative. And if you could share this fundraiser with friends, that would be lovely too.
Any money raised beyond our goal will be donated to Community Concern 4 Cats to support other fur babies in need of help.
(you can designate donations for Ullie’s care there too)
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully with gratitude and great hope,
Ullie’s foster family
