A plethora of refugees are fleeing from the war in Ukraine. Amongst them are my Babushka Olga (84), our friend Larysa (51) and her son Bohdan (15). Larysa had to leave her first son Maxim (25) behind - he has to serve in the Ukrainian army.
The three made it to Germany and are staying at my mom's place. My mom will take care of them and provide shelter as long as needed. Uncertain about what will become the future Ukraine, they have to let go of their homes and belongings and start a new life in Germany. I am fundraising to help Larysa and Bohdan build a new life from scratch. I am also fundraising for my Babushka; we need to get her a stairlift so she can move about freely in my mom's house.
I will distribute the donations equally (3 x 1/3) and hand over the money directly to them. We appreciate any contribution, irrespective of the target value (I have no idea of what is a realistic target value), what matters is that any amount will help.

Eine Vielzahl von Menschen ist auf der Flucht vor dem Krieg in der Ukraine. Dazu zählen auch meine Babuschka Olga (84), unsere Freundin Larysa (51) und ihr Sohn Bohdan (15). Larysa musste ihren ersten Sohn Maxim (25) in der Ukraine zurücklassen - er muss in der Armee dienen.
Sie haben es zu dritt nach Deutschland zu meiner Mutter geschafft. Meine Mutter wird sich um sie kümmern und ihnen so lange wie nötig Unterkunft bieten. Ungewiss darüber was die zukünftige Ukraine werden wird, müssen sie ihr Zuhaue und ihr Hab und Gut zurücklassen, und ein neues Leben in Deutschland beginnen. Ich sammle Spenden, um Larysa und Bohdan zu helfen, ganz von vorne anzufangen und sich ein neues Leben aufzubauen. Ich sammle auch Spenden für meine Babuschka; wir müssen ihr einen Treppenlift besorgen, damit sie sich im Haus meiner Mutter frei bewegen kann.
Ich werde die Spenden gleichmäßig verteilen (3 x 1/3) und das Geld direkt an sie übergeben. Wir freuen uns über jeden Beitrag, unabhängig vom Zielwert (ich habe keine Ahnung, was ein realistischer Zielwert ist), wichtig ist, dass jeder Euro hilft.
