Hello friends, my name is Elizabeth Osintsev and last month I had the opportunity to serve overseas in Nepal with a team of young missionaries from Ukraine. As we all know the heart wrenching situation in Ukraine has gone beyond what anyone could have imagined and it has cause some unforeseen circumstances for my dear friends in Nepal. The Ukrainian team of missionaries who I had the privilege to work with while I was there is currently stuck in Nepal indefinitely.. all financial support that was coming in from Ukraine has been cut off and it’s been heavy on my heart to help them however I can. Currently they have no way to return and most of them don’t know if they will come home to family that is alive or not. They have become like family to me and seeing all that is happening doesn’t allow me to just sit back and watch. I am reaching out to all who are blessed and able to help our brothers and sisters out during this time. Not only are there basic necessity needs of food and water, but this team is also running many ministries over there which rely on solely their financial input. I pray that things in Ukraine settle down soon but no one knows.. in the mean time, let’s help these incredible people out however we can. I thank everyone in advance for your contribution and help. Also, a little bit about the ministry that they are currently running there: The ministry is focused on equipping, strengthening and building up the local church. The missionaries are doing this through their church and Bible School, where they equip and pour into the youth spiritually as the future leaders of the local church. They have also built a Christian school named “Holyfield Christian School”, where they teach the children the Word of God to up bring them in biblical truths and morals. The church is planning to build a second local church as the current local church is growing and more space is needed. With all these ministries, there is a high demand for finances for this local church & the missionaries serving there. There is a financial need for:
- Finish construction at Holyfield Christian school - Food and housing needs for local Bible school students that serve there
- New building for a second local church. The existing one is not big enough anymore
- Expand the current existing church/missionary base
- housing necessities (gas, light, produce, etc.) The church is Nepal is growing, and as growth continues, financial demand also grows with it.
