Help Ukrainian Kyrylkov Family Relocate to MN

Donation protected
Please help us raise funds to relocate the Kyrlkov's to Champlin, Minnesota! In February, Volodomyr & Maryna Kyrylkov and their four children Sofia (13), Vova (11), Dariia (7) and Ksenia (6) fled their home in Pilipchia, Ukraine, searching for safety following a night of bombs and air raids. Through a series of miraculous events, they have been staying in temporary housing in Frankfurt, Germany. For the past three months, the family has been waiting and praying to return to their home near Kyiv, where they ran a family business. Unfortunately, as the war continues with no end in sight, their dream has shifted to being somewhere safe where they can work and support their children. We want to make that dream a reality!

My husband and I met Maryna 24 years ago while leading a Vacation Bible Camp in the small village of Kniazhyky, Ukraine. We fell in love with Maryna and her little sister Ira and corresponded for years. As Maryna grew up, she became fluent in English. With technology like Facebook and Zoom, we were reunited and became dear adult friends. During the Covid Pandemic, Maryna would get up at 3am Ukrainian time to attend a Champlin area Zoom Bible study, attend online church in MN, and we have had the joy of watching her children grow. Ironically, their daughter Sofia is now the same age Maryna was when we met all those years ago!

The Ukrainian people have endured so much heartache and destruction with the unprovoked attack from the Russians. Each day watching the horrors on the news makes me feel so helpless. While we may not be able to end the war - I hope we can show this Ukrainian family that people care, and that there is still love and goodness in the world!

They will be arriving on June 15th, with only one suitcase each. A wonderful couple has offered to house the family, but they will need money for the flights, a car or van to get to school/work, food, dishes, towels - virtually everything - to start their lives all over. We would greatly appreciate your help!

Anything we raise over the relocation needs of the Kyrylkov family will be donated to the Converge Ukrainian Relief fund (https://converge.org/missions/world-relief)
to assist additional Ukrainian families.

Thank you so much for your help!
