Help Ukrainian Family Rebuild in Dubuque

IA NICE is excited to announce that a Dubuque Chapter of our organization has been launched to support Ukrainian families in the Dubuque area.

A dedicated team of volunteers has organized and is now awaiting the arrival of their first sponsored family currently sheltering with two young children in Kharkiv City near the Russian border of Ukraine. The family would like to rebuild in Iowa and return to happier times as seen in the pre-war Christmas photo below. Their Christmas wish for 2024 is to settle in Iowa, obtain employment / financial independence, and build new friendships in Dubuque.

Like the DeWitt Chapter, Dubuque will operate with 100% volunteer staff which means that nearly 100% of donated funds will be used for direct support.

Please consider a tax-deductible donation to help the Dubuque Chapter of IA NICE provide temporary housing, food, and transportation for one family.
