Hi, we are Kat and Mike, two Ukrainian-Americans trying to help our relatives and friends in Ukraine fleeing into neighbouring countries. Our cousin and her two young sons are safe in a B&B in Poland, thanks to the generosity of our Polish host. We know she may need to remain away from her family still in Ukraine for some time, and we need help funding her stay.

Your donations will go to her rent, food, clothes, and perhaps eventually a car. She had to leave most of her belongings behind. Like so many of the hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees crossing the border, she had to abandon her car on the side of the road and walk several kilometres to the border.

We are also looking to help other mothers like our cousin. Your generosity will help us get women and children into warm shelter. So many are huddled outside in freezing temperatures and waiting for hours and hours to cross the border.
