Help Ukraine Medical Students Resume Studies
Donation protected
Jessica Orakpo, featured in the Washington Post on March 5, is a 6th-year medical student at the Ternopil National Medical University in Ukraine.
Jessica and her two friends, Nataizya Nanyangwe and Osinachi Ekenulo - also in Medical School (from Nigeria and Zambia), were denied evacuation for days until they got to Hungary - where they have a safe space through airbnb, which provides vouchers.
Ukraine Medical schools have recently resumed classes online. After speaking with Jessica, I learned firsthand that they fled so fast that they only had time to pack a few belongings and their ID - leaving their laptops behind. The challenge is that they cannot continue their studies without laptops.
Getting laptops will allow them to continue their studies.
Will you join me in raising funds and awareness so Jessica and her classmates can purchase laptops to continue their education?
