Eighteen of Britain's finest under-16 baseball players have been selected to represent their country at the prestigious Babe Ruth World Series this summer.

Baseball's star is on the rise in the UK with growing numbers of young athletes entering the sport and playing for local clubs and in international competitions.

Like many sports in the UK, though, there is no national funding to support the development of young baseball talent. For international events like the Babe Ruth World Series, athletes and their families must cover all costs to attend, including air and land travel, accommodation, meals, tournament fees, even jerseys and equipment.

We are raising funds to support the athletes and families on their journey to Missouri this August. All donations are graciously accepted and will entirely be used to help the team offset its costs and ensure everyone selected can wear the British Lions Baseball jersey on the Babe Ruth diamonds this summer.
