Hello everyone,

My name is Obianuju (“Uju”) Okafor, and I am a second-year Economics and Management student at the University of Bristol. I am reaching out with a humble heart because I urgently need help to continue my education this academic year.

In early 2024, my family experienced a heartbreaking loss when my beloved father passed away due to health complications. During his illness, our family’s finances were already severely strained by medical expenses, and his passing left my sister and me to face the financial responsibility of our education alone.

My father was our provider and our biggest supporter. He believed deeply in the power of education and always encouraged us to work hard and pursue our dreams. Losing him has been devastating both emotionally and financially, but I am determined to honor his dream of seeing me graduate.

Since starting university, I have been doing everything I can to support myself. I currently work multiple part-time jobs while studying full-time, balancing long work hours with my academic responsibilities. I cover my rent, bills, and daily living expenses on my own, but unfortunately the cost of my international tuition fee of £27,400 is far beyond what I can manage alone.

Despite my determination and hard work, I cannot continue my studies without help.

That is why I am asking for support to raise £27,400 to cover my tuition for the upcoming academic year. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to staying in school and completing my degree.
