Help Ugandan Orphanage Achieve Self-Sufficiency

PLEASE READ UPDATES!

In a small village north of Jinja Uganda, there is a home that has taken in children who do not have the means to care for themselves. (The St. Annah Foundation Aka "Starlight Jinja Orphanage")

It is run by a young man of not even 28 years old, who was raised there, and taken in as the first child 22 years ago. His name is Isima.

After the sudden and tragic passing of his mentor, the late founder in 2022, Isima, (24 at this time), stepped away from a university ride, and his own future, to care for the kids left behind.

The goal here is to raise the money the orphanage needs to buy a small, 6 acre, local peice of property that is for sale and starting a farm, that can provide food and income long-term. They dream of working the land together, raising chickens and goats, and becoming self-sufficient in food.

No longer relying on external donation for food security or income.

If you've found this, and you want to help. God Bless you!

There are 43 children who sleep in this home, and another 23 from the community who rely on it for crucial care and food.

Thank you for your consideration, we all (everyone who loves them) look forward to making a real difference with you.
