Help UFF Raise Money for Movie Theaters!

On March 1st 2020, we closed out the 3rd edition of the Unnamed Footage Festival at the Historic Balboa Theater in San Francisco amidst a rising anxiety. Nevertheless, none of us expected many of our favorite movie theaters would still be closed a year later. Even where theaters have reopened, it is a daily struggle for many non-profit and independent cinemas to pay the bills during a pandemic.

For 2021, UFF is going virtual as a 24-hour long livestream hosted at
All profits from the badge sales of #UFF24HR and additional donations being collected on this page will be donated. We have a list of theaters around the country we will be evenly splitting the funds between, including the three venues that have hosted UFF in the past: the Roxie, the Balboa, and ATA.

Once the festival has ended, we will collect additional donations here through the end of the month. At that time we will publish a list of the theaters and the donated amount.

Help us support the movie theaters we love now, so that in 2022 UFF can return to the big screen!
