Donation protected

Hi, I’m Nardia. I’m a new mam on maternity leave, and I’m doing everything I can to save my 1-year-old puppy, Tyson.
Tyson’s always been my little shadow, but since I got pregnant, he’s been even more loving and protective. He watches over my baby boy, plays with him, and makes him giggle like no one else can. He’s been with me through everything and is such a big part of our little family he’s not “just” a pet.
A few days ago, during a normal walk, Tyson had a horrible accident. He broke his leg in two places. The vet also found a bone splinter. He needs surgery for a metal plate to be put in really soon if he’s going to walk properly again the only other option is they can put a splint on for 6 weeks leaving him cage bound and unable to move unless he needs the toilet and this may not even work and after that the next step would be amputation as the shoulder plate would likely not work after the long wait.
I’m absolutely heartbroken. I had to cancel his pet insurance a while back because of money struggles — something I regret massively now. With no insurance and being on maternity leave, I just can’t cover the full cost on my own. I’ve been quoted between £3,850 for the surgery, i have set the goal slightly higher to cover emergency vet visit fee any other charges and go fund me take small percentage of donations too if anything would be left over it will be spent on treats and toys to spoil our boy.
Tyson turns 2 at the end of July. He’s still just a baby himself, and he deserves to grow up happy and pain-free, not stuck suffering because I couldn’t afford his treatment. I don’t want to even think about amputation or the very last option of euthanasia . I just want to give him the chance he deserves.
If you can donate anything, even £1 I’d be so grateful. And if you can’t, just sharing this could help more than you know. We’re trying everything we can to get him the help he needs.
Thank you so much for reading and caring. Tyson means everything to me, and to my little family. I just want him home, happy and healed.
**UPDATE***
we borrowed and paid £200 off his bill today for his emergency vet visit and have an outstanding £630 for the care he’s received (separate to surgery costs)
he is to go back to the vets on friday to refit his splint which he will need to be sedated for (costs to be confirmed)
the next step is take him back 14 days later if we haven’t been able to book surgery and see how the bone is mending.
emergency vet costings so far
