Help Tyral Overcome His Health Crisis

Donation protected
Tyral Lane Thomas was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the end of December 2023 When seeing his cancer Doctor, they decided it was best to remove the testicle that was compromised. All seemed to be in the clear, as he was following up with scheduled checkups. After his third follow-up, they had shown concern about cancer cells in his blood. This time it showed up in the lymph nodes. It seemed that it was small enough that starting Chemotherapy would help diminish the cancer. He was going to treatments 5 days a week 4 hours a day for a little over a week when he started to feel major pain in his back. He thought his back was going out from stress and trying to work through the treatments. On June 11th, family friend called 911 and Ty was immitted into the Swedish Medical Center in Denver Colorado. They immediately started running tests and found out he had a major infection throughout his body. The port that was in his chest for the treatments had become infected. By Wednesday night, Doctors had made the decision to intubate him. His heart rate, blood pressure, major fever from infection, and breathing difficulties were all at risk. His white blood cell count was .2% and his blood platelets were at 14. His feet started to swell and turn purple, along with the rest of his body. With all the medication and IV fluid they were giving him, his body started to retain all that liquid. We had fear his kidneys were starting to fail, but CT scans showed he was ok. During the weekend, his fever went down, and his body was fighting to reproduce white blood cells. June 17th, his fever went back up, but we were told his white blood cells were up and fighting the infection. The Doctors also said his lungs are starting to go into ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome). They have paralyzed him and put him on his stomach for 16 hours at time to help relieve the fluid in his lungs. Tyral has an extremely long road to recovery and possible rehabilitation. He is an amazing tattoo artist in Denver Colorado. He has travelled all over the country doing what he does best, tattoos. He has even worked in California next to Kat Von D’s shop. He has such an incredible life ahead of him and needs to continue his passion. We are asking for any donations to help with medical bills, apartment rent, personal expenses, and anything left over to help with daily life and getting back on his feet. Tyral is the most loving, helping, and caring individual you will ever meet. He would never ask for anything but a hug and some laughs. The family and I appreciate anything that gets donated, we THANK YOU and love you all!
