Help Tyler's Family with Bills Due to Cancer
Donation protected
On the morning of July 12th, 2024, my 27 year old son Tyler asked me if I would go to the Emergency Room with him because he hadn't been feeling well for a few weeks, and it had been getting worse. A few hours into our visit, Tyler was informed that there were some concerns with his labs, and more blood work was ordered. The hematologist later came in and let us know that my son was being admitted to the oncology unit for a few weeks, what we thought was the flu was in fact leukemia. B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
I have started this go fund me to help Tyler with bills as he is currently inpatient and receiving chemotherapy for his Leukemia, and I am on a fixed income so I cannot pay everything on my own, and for assistance with transportation to and from the hospital, so I can occasionally go home to take a shower and do laundry and such.
I spend every night at the hospital with my son, and I cannot take public transportation, as he is a very high infection risk ( neutropenic) and I do not drive.
Tyler started his second round of chemotherapy yesterday, and his body seems to be responding well. This has been an emotionally and physically exhausting journey, and any help that we can receive we are more than grateful for.
