Help Tyler with his fight against Cancer
Donation protected
In February we took Tyler to an orthopedic doctor thinking he pulled a muscle in his right knee. The x-rays came back showing a mass/tumor. They scheduled an MRI for the next day that showed the tumor was cancer. We were immediately put in contact with the Mayo Clinic the following week. That is when Tyler was diagnosed with a bone cancer called Osteosarcoma in his right knee. He was then put on crutches and required to use a knee brace. Tyler was no longer able to continue his spring semester at Grand Canyon University and we had to withdraw him from college studies to focus on his recovery and health.
Chemotherapy started at the end of February and Tyler has to be admitted to the hospital for inpatient chemo every time, staying overnight at the hospital for 3-5 days. He will be receiving 3 cycles of Chemo, followed by surgery, hopefully in June. Then more chemo cycles hoping to be done by mid to end of October. This has been a difficult time for our family, and we are seeking your support to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis. Your support will help cover additional expenses that include travel.
We hope that you will consider supporting Tyler and our family during this time. Every little bit helps, and we would be forever grateful for your generosity. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering a donation.
