Hi everyone, I'm reaching out on behalf of my good friend, Tyler.
Two years ago, Tyler was in a bad accident while finishing a roofing project. He slid 60 feet down the roof and fell another 12 feet off the edge, dislocating his ankle and shearing off the cartilage. This has left him with severe arthritic pain, making even everyday tasks difficult and compromising his ability to work and be productive. He typically walks with a cane and can't walk very long or very far unassisted.
After being told by four specialists that nothing could be done except fusing his ankle, Tyler recently found a specialist in California who can regrow the cartilage in his ankle using a paste graft and stem cells. This life-changing surgery would remove the constant pain and allow him to resume activities he hasn't done in years, including playing with his four youngest kids aged six and under, get back to work, focus on his family, and more effectively serve others, which he loves to do.
The surgery costs $35,000, and unfortunately, his insurance won't cover any of it. Anything you can give would mean the world to Tyler and his family.
All proceeds will go to pay medical expenses for the surgery, facility, rehabilitation immediately following the procedure and the cost of the 2 week stay during recovery.
