Help Tyler thru dialysis & a kidney transplant.

Hello, my name is Amanda & I am fundraising for my son Tyler Cox. Tyler is 30 years old and was born with one kidney, it is now failing him. He has begun testing at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for a kidney transplant. If a matching donor is not found within the next 2 months he will start dialysis. I have undergone some testing and found out I am unable to donate. Due to medical issues, the other two members of our family are also unable to donate.

Tyler is a newlywed, he shares two cats with his wife Alicia. They have owned their home for about a year now. This is supposed to be a fun time for newlyweds to look forward to the things to come but instead, Tyler is worried about his health and finances due to all the time he has had to take off work for testing appointments and the time he will have to be off for any dialysis training and then the time he will be off when he gets his kidney transplant.

I have started this fundraiser to seek help for Tyler and Alicia with medical expenses and daily living expenses to help ease their minds during this stressful time.

Tyler enjoys volunteering at Historic Schoenbrunn Village, visiting museums and going to antique shops with his wife, spending time with family and his two cats Cheerio and Lucy. Tyler and his wife Alicia attend Schoenbrunn Moravian Church.
