Hello! My name is Tyler Donkoh-Halm, and I am a 2025 Berklee graduate, and am currently pursuing a master's degree at Berklee's Global Jazz Institute. Within the last few months, I've been placed into an emergency situation due to conflicting information told to me by my loan servicer. Within a moment's notice, I've been placed into an immediate financial crisis, despite initially being assured by them that I wouldn't begin payments until after I graduate my program. While I've been talking to my loan servicer for months to try and fix this, no progress has been made.

I am reaching out to my school for help because starting next month, I will be unable to afford my apartment rent, loan, groceries, and other monthly costs. But because getting help from the school is also a process that takes its own time, I've decided to reach out to my community due to the urgency of the situation I'm in.

This money would go exclusively towards:

- Paying my apartment rent/utilities to allow me to stay and finish my master's degree

- Paying my monthly educational loans
