UPDATE 10-16-2025: Tyler has been doing better until recently when his life saving device shocked his heart 9 times. He now has another heart surgery to repair the damaged areas on October 30, 2025. He has been able to maintain a job for the last 7 years with a major corporate casino. He went to work yesterday and was let go along with others due to corporate decisions to do away with positions to save money. So, he lost his insurance that would cover his upcoming surgery. Please assist with donations of any kind for this unfortunate medical issue and loss of coverage. He is only 27 and the stress of it all is so overwhelming. ORIGINAL STORY: Hi everyone. My son, Tyler Free, is 25 years old and was found with 2 giant aneurysms in his coronary artery requiring surgical removal to save his life. Tyler's condition is 1 of only 10 known cases reported in the world at his age (per his cardiacthoracic surgeons at UMMC). On January 10, 2024, for 9 hours the cardiac and thoracic specialists at UMMC successfully removed the aneurysms which also required a double bypass open heart surgery. 

Tyler has to continue to travel to UMMC in Jackson, MS for special cardiac monitoring and treatment. The specialists are documenting Tyler's condition, treatment and progress to assist other surgeons who may have patients with the same condition. Tyler is expected to have full heart function after his recovery. Currently, Tyler is personally striving hard to gain strength to function as a normal healthy 25 year old man. He is 3 weeks ahead of their expected recovery timeline. 

We are asking for donations to assist Tyler with his monthly living expenses, treatment expenses, and mounting medical/rehabilitation bills.
