Tyler’s Story

Tyler is a 22-year-old man from Columbia who suffered serious injuries on July 31 after being electrocuted while welding on a dock near Gravois Mills at the Lake of the Ozarks. The electrical shock caused Tyler to fall into the water, where he nearly drowned before being rescued moments later. After the accident, Tyler was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital and then airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for specialized care. This heartbreaking incident has changed everything in an instant, and Tyler is now facing a long and difficult road ahead as he continues treatment and begins the process of healing.
