On December 27, 2025, just a few days after Christmas, Tyler had a sudden stroke at only 32 years old.
In a matter of minutes, everything changed. He was rushed to the hospital, then life-flighted to The University of Utah Hospital for urgent, specialized care requiring immediate surgery. He is currently recovering in the NACU unit.
Now comes the long part: recovery. Stroke rehab is demanding and unpredictable, with ongoing hospital care, therapy, follow-up appointments, medications, and time away from work while Tyler rebuilds strength and independence.
This GoFundMe is here to help carry the financial weight so Tyler and his family can focus on healing. Donations will go toward medical bills, rehabilitation and therapy, recovery-related expenses, transportation to appointments, and basic living costs during time off work.
Tyler is deeply loved. He’s the kind of person people remember, not because he tries to be, but because he’s genuine. He is kind, resilient, and deeply human in a way that leaves a mark on everyone who knows him. He has a way of making others feel seen, and he leaves people better than he found them.
Any contribution, whether through donating or sharing this page, helps lift a heavy weight during an incredibly challenging time. If you can donate, thank you. If you can’t, sharing this page helps more than you know.
How Funds Will Be Used:
• Hospital/ICU bills and procedures
• Neurology follow-ups, imaging, and specialist visits
• Physical/occupational therapy and rehab
• Medications and recovery supplies
• Transportation to appointments
• Lost wages and essential living expenses
• Other recovery needs as they arise
