Help Tyler Lackey

Hello friends! We’ve come here in an effort to get some help for a very dear friend and coworker, Tyler.

My name is Amelia and Tyler is an incredible young woman I’ve know for quite some time. Tyler is not only a cherished family friend of mine and my boyfriend’s, she’s also a single mother of two beautiful children and a valuable part of our team at a drop zone in Alabama.

On February 6th, Tyler suffered a serious injury. In an unfortunate accident, while filming a fellow coworker and skydiver, she was struck when said skydiver flew into her. The impact was tremendous and Tyler is lucky to be alive. This good fortune isn’t lost on her and she’s very grateful. Immediately following the accident, she was taken to the hospital where she was told she had suffered a concussion and was subsequently sent home.

Once she was home, Tyler was hoping to recover and return to her normal activities, unfortunately after experiencing severe headaches, neck and shoulder pain, she had to return to the hospital for several days where she learned she had a number of disc compressions. Since then, her recovery has taken a turn for the worse. It was determined that Tyler’s injury was more serious and she in fact suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and her recovery is now expected to take longer than she imagined. Not only will she need to see several specialists but she will additionally need physical therapy. We all know how costly healthcare is. Tyler has no health insurance.

Tyler is such a sweet spirited young woman, which those of you who know her can attest to. In addition, she’s a wonderful and attentive mother who provides care and a home for her children, one of whom, sweet little Riley is a special needs child who relies on her Mother to be at her very best to provide the unique care and love she needs.

I’m hoping you all would be interested in helping to alleviate some of the financial burden this type is treatment entails.

I know times are lean for all of us. The present state of the world doesn’t allow for a lot of room to give. If you could however find it in your heart to contribute whatever you can there’s no better recipient of this type of charity than Tyler.
